Here at the Field Grade Leader, we are always looking for volunteers to contribute to our team. Interested in participating? Here is some additional information:
What is the Field Grade Leader?
A forum focused on organizational leadership as applied to the United States Army. We started as a personal blog in 2016, sharing original articles as well as content from the business world. We partnered with The Military Leader in 2017, creating a web site and a mailing list. In 2018 we expanded the team with the inclusion of two editors.
What positions are we looking for?
As our audience continues to expand, we are seeking help with several positions. As a member of Team Field Grade Leader, each individual will be asked to contribute creatively, developing concepts for future projects and initiatives. All team members actively seek content, provide feedback, and participate in group dialogue via Slack.
Here are the specific positions we are interested in filling:
-Editors: Field Grade Leader editors are responsible for the original content we share on a regular basis. Editors find, edit to improve readability, and prepare new articles for publication. The anticipated workload is normally one to two articles per month but can increase during focused initiatives.
-Web and Digital Media Manager: We are looking for one person to serve in this capacity with experience in web design via WordPress. This individual will test and improve website design, maintain the appearance and experience of the website, and prepare design plans to support initiatives. Finally, the web manager will prepare regular content for distribution once editing is complete.
-Social Media Manager: We are seeking one individual with an interest in social media and marketing. The social media manager will assist in expanding social media presence and developing methods to enhance engagement in Field Grade Leader initiatives.
