The book “unpacks” the tactical principles and tenets many of memorized as lieutenants (tempo, surprise, mass, etc), going beyond the wave tops of doctrine with both historic and contemporary battlefield examples. This work would be an excellent centerpiece for a Battalion or Brigade Leader Professional Development program.
